Breezy electro French duo POLO & PAN have announced they will release a deluxe edition of their debut 2017 album ‘CARAVELLE’ on July 13. Paul Armand-Delille and Alexandre Grynszpan invite you into their colourful world, with music that inspires child-like wonder and captures a sense of fun within the electronic music scene. This new deluxe edition will be released under national label Caroline Australia. The deluxe release of ‘CARAVELLE’ – streamed over a whopping 23 million times – sees POLO & PAN share new tracks and remixes, including the recently released ‘Arc en ciel’, as well a quirky, warped remix of the duo’s massively streamed hit ‘Canopée’, reworked by acclaimed indie pop collective, SUPERORGANISM. Formed in 2012, Armand-Delille and Grynszpan met at a nightclub, ‘Le Baron’, in Paris while working as DJs (“Polocorp†and “Peter Panâ€) and embarked on a journey together that has produced some of their most intriguing and adventurous music yet. With their unmistakably French sound, ‘CARAVELLE’ ventures to far-flung places, drawing on an eclectic range of musical influences including GIORGIO MORODER, LCD SOUNDSYSTEM, FLAVIEN BERGER and MAURICE RAVEL, along with classic films such as The Wizard of Oz. The result is a melding of childhood nostalgia and exotic hedonism that makes for a beautifully immersive listening experience. Bold, bright percussion, superb harmonies and carefully chosen guest vocals conjure a vivid picture on every song. The pair were intent on maintaining a “French†sound in an attempt to break a wider audience. “A lot of other great artists don’t celebrate the French language, and we decided we wanted to use it because it is musical,†says Grynszpan. “Maybe it’s harder to be more ‘worldwide’, but it was really important for us to talk French in the project.†“Artists have developed a ‘formula’ to making perfect pop music,†Armand-Delille elaborates. “Now people are interested in mixing different influences from all over the world, which makes it a really exciting time to make music. We’re proud to be part of this nameless, genre-less generation.†Tracklist: 01. Polo & Pan - Abysse 02. Polo & Pan - Aqualand 03. Polo & Pan - Canopée 04. Polo & Pan - Arc-en-ciel 05.
