Terry won a Grammy for his writing on Muddy Waters album Hard Again and is best known for his book In the Belly of the Blues as well as his many award winning collaborations like Heaven Mississippi by Bob Margolin. When Terry first heard Deuce n a Quarter he knew that his lyrics for Rearview Mirror would be a perfect match for the hard charging 5 piece. But make no mistake, this CD is much more than just a one song collaboration. From the bands tribute to BB King One Note to the guitar and harmonica driven sound of Mississippi Phantom each and every song will get you excited, just like that new car smell! Deuce ‘n a Quarter is a strong blues band fronted by the heartfelt voice and wailing harmonica of Brian Peters. He is backed by Jeffrey Allen on guitar, John Sipher on keys, André Scott on drums and Martin O. Brown on bass. Their original music paired with covers from legendary influences such as Muddy Waters, BB King and Little Walter will resonate the soul. Rest assured, their music will make you forget about your troubles, and after all, isnt that what the blues is all about!
