In 1983, Valley of the Sun promoted a young Robert Slap to musical director of the burgeoning new age concern. Bright eyed, bushy tailed, and fresh out of the mailroom, Slap began layering various tones on his Roland Juno 60 synthesizer, adding in wind and heartbeat sound effects on the way to creating a musical rendition of a recurring dream he had as a child.
