his economical set collects 83 minutes of the incomparable Judy Garland in many
of her signature songs recorded for Decca, including Dear Mr. Gable: You Made Me
Love You and the inevitable Over the Rainbow from The Wizard of Oz, as well as
that films deleted number, The Jitterbug. Also here are samplings of Garlands
early collaborations with Gene Kelly (For Me and My Gal) and Mickey Rooney (the
Gershwins Girl Crazy), along with the title tune and the exquisite Boy Next Door
from Meet Me in St. Louis. This isnt as complete as her Decca box or as historic
as her Carnegie Hall concert, but its a nice collection, even with no liner
