successful outcomes and which therefore risk contorting an artist's true
expression?

Venus and her production team have been exploring this question for 6 years. 6
years in which she has amassed followings of nearly 80,000 fans through her
tri-weekly concert style live show on Twitch and another 80,000 more recently on
tiktok thanks to a few viral music videos. She has become a classic example of a
truly independent artist, releasing her own records, creating her own live sets,
artwork and videos.

'The Hour that Turned Blue' is Venus's third original studio album and is a
shining example of an artist unrestricted by external marketing forces. Crossing
the genres of contemporary pop, folk and rock, and with her trademark haunting
vocals, ‘The Hour that Turned Blue’ invites the listener to join
Venus on another intriguing adventure into her inner world of magic, mysticism,
heartbreak and hope.

From the catchy folk/nature influenced vibes of Witness, Borrowed Breath and
Elements, to the despair of losing someone in Postscript and the triumphant pop
of Champion, this album captures Venus's complex and inspirational inner world.
Venus is making the music that she loves, free of compromise. This is perfectly
demonstrated by the uproarious and image-laden ‘The House on the Hill, a
track that takes the listener from laid-back, smoke-filled jazz club into
full-in-your-face rock arena.

2 years in the making, The Hour that Turned Blue contains 10 tracks which cross
genres but never stray away from Venus's unique and expressive story-telling.
