While both "Like a River" and "The Stuff That Dreams Are Made Of" are good tunes, the rest are more by rote than by inspiration. Thusly, "" is the lesser of his solo discs released in the '80s. In the '90s, he would reunite with former bandmate from Great Buildings, Phil Sorem, and hit it mighty big in the Rembrandts.
