| 1. Spencer Krug’s indie art rockers announce their long-awaited return with their first album in over fifteen years. Sunset left us with their best LP in 2009’s Dragonslayer, and we’ve got high hopes that quality will be matched in the undersung and always-quality group’s first since. Oddly enough, the idea to reunite the band came about through a dream, with Krug immediately emailing past members to see if they’d be up for playing some gigs. Always Happy to Explode features nine tracks of slyly complex and progressive indie rock tracks with psychedelic production, lush instrumental flourishes, and top-tier bass lines from new member Nicholas Merz.
