Glen Campbell. A top-pop song by Bobby Goldsboro is Honey, and Loretta Lynn made
a big one with Fist City. Johnny Darrell did likewise with With Pen in Hand, and
The Image of Me did nothing to hurt Conway Twittys image. Rose of the Tennessee
Valley is a new country song thats going places. This album also features a few
all-time country classics: The Jimmie Rodgers Blues and the immortal Shenandoah.
All of the selections here were arranged and conducted by Henri Rene, a man who
knows his way around country music - and all kinds of music. Mr. Rene writes
music himself and has arranged and conducted for innumerable top name artists.
For many years he had his own orchestra which recorded on RCA.
