This 1988 release is their first album on their own, produced by Cooder and featuring backup by the guitarist, drummer Jim Keltner and others. Great vocals in the classic southern soul tradition. King and Evans have served Ry Cooder well as backup singers, and the slide guitarist reciprocates by producing their feature debut.
