The second result of the Beethoven Project, in which Hisako Kawamura works on a
series of 14 piano sonatas at four locations throughout Japan in two years, has
appeared. Kawamuras Beethoven has been acclaimed as a decisive performance that
makes you feel as if a new Beethoven statue has been established in front of
you, and strips off the legendary veil that has been accumulated by this
composer and demythologizes it. Kawamuras approach, which seems to be a plan, is
highly evaluated as a completely new interpretation.
In addition to the two famous songs Passion and Waldstein, Beethovens sonatas
include the undulating 18th Hunting and the 24th Terese, which are graceful.
Every note breathes lithely, and the elegant singing spirit captures the
listeners heart. Pre-Beethoven Anniversarys album, which has both high
popularity and rich content, along with the big topic that it will be used for
the performance of the main character Eiden Aya in the movie Listen to the
Universe released on October 4th. It is inevitable that it will be a big topic
in 2019.
