SF Studios hosted the premiere gala for its highly anticipated large-scale
period drama, Margrete – Queen of the North. The film stars Trine Dyrholm
(Queen of Hearts) in the lead as Margrete I. Margrete is considered the most
powerful regent in Scandinavian history, as she gathered the three Nordic
countries Denmark, Norway and Sweden into a peaceful and visionary union. Her
Majesty the Queen attended the gala in Copenhagen together with political and
business leaders and the Danish film industry. The film is produced by SF
Studios with producers Birgitte Skov and Lars Bredo Rahbek and directed by
internationally acclaimed director Charlotte Sieling (Lovecraft Country,
Homeland, The Killing, The Bridge). The film will premiere in cinemas in Denmark
on September 16 followed a theatrical release in the Nordics during fall 2021.
SF Studios distributes the film in the Nordics and REinvent handles
international sales.

Jon Petter Ekstrand (born 14 December 1976) is a Swedish composer and film sound
designer. As a composer, he has collaborated with director Daniel Espinosa
scoring films such as Easy Money, Child 44, Life and the upcoming superhero
film, Morbius. Since 1999, he has worked and contributed as a composer or a
sound designer on several films, television films, TV series and short films,
including music for 4 episodes of the Swedish TV series Sebastian Bergman.
