 Wishbone Ash ist eine britische Rockband, die ihre größten Erfolge in den frühen 1970er Jahren feierte. Sie entstand 1969 aus der Gruppe Tanglewood und gilt als eine der ersten Bands mit zwei Leadgitarristen. Live In Tokyo war lange ein schwer zu findendes Live-Album von Wishbone Ash mit Bassgitarrist und Leadsänger Martin Turner. Für den Hintergrundgesang sorgt der berühmte V-Leadgitarrist Andy Powell, ebenfalls an der Leadgitarre Laurie Wisefield und am Schlagzeug Steve Upton. Live in Tokyo ist ein Live-Album, das ursprünglich nur in Japan auf Vinyl veröffentlicht wurde. Es bietet großartige Versionen von F. U.B. B. und The Way Of The World. Das Album wurde aufgenommen, als die Band 1978 während ihrer No Smoke Without Fire-Tour im Tokyo Sun Plaza in Japan live spielte.
