Split between studio and live tracks, there are few vestiges of Fames pop/rock
traits on this set, which focuses on suaver, jazzier big-band arrangements. Its
pulled off in a convincingly sophisicated and smooth fashion, but it lacks much
spunk or fire. The material includes covers of standards by the likes of Rodgers
& Hart, and the set will probably appeal more to jazz vocal fans than listeners
