Taking a page out of David Bowies book, Jobriath fell to earth in 1973, claiming
that he came from outer space, except that where Bowie was just androgynous,
Jobriath was openly gay, the first rock star of his kind. Unfortunately, the
world just wasnt ready, and hence neither of Jobriaths albums for Elektra did
well commercially; nowadays, of course, they are huge cult items, the best of
which are collected here (by Morrissey, no less) on this 15-track collection.
Think Hunky Dory -era Bowie mixed with Elton John...produced by Eddie Kramer!

Compilation of selected tracks from the albums Jobriath and Creatures Of The
Street in non-chronological order. I Love A Good Fight is previously unreleased.
