The wait is over for fans of Generation Iron! The original docudrama, one of the
highest grossing documentaries of 2013, is getting a sequel in Generation Iron
2. Vlad Yudin returns to direct the new film focusing on the next generation of
bodybuilders and fitness personalities as they push their physiques to the
“next” level while generating mass appeal around the world. The film
is premiering May 12th and will be available in video on demand at the same
time. Jeff Rona, the composer for the original Generation Iron, returns to his
scoring duties in the sequel. His music serves as the powerful, robust and
sincerely heartfelt backdrop to the tales of these Herculean men striving for
near-impossible improvement. Two original tracks by the rapper Quan are also
featured in the soundtrack release are not to be missed.
