ShyBoy composed the score for Bryan Fuller’s critically-acclaimed
documentary series Queer For Fear: A History Of Queer Horror (Shudder/AMC).

ShyBoy is the music composer for the Emmy-nominated documentary series Queer For
Fear: The History Of Queer Horror. Several songs from His Royal Shyness are
featured in the show, including the main title “Backroom,” described
by World of Wonder as “a gritty masterpiece.” The original score and
soundtrack album from Queer For Fear features “Dildo Machine” by
ShyBoy and RuPaul’s Drag Race superstar Alaska Thunderfuck.

ShyBoy's music has been featured in various TV shows, including RuPaul's Drag
Race, Dynasty, and America's Next Top Model, as well as in the Capcom video game
Devil May Cry 4 and the trailer for the 2018 film Halloween. His collaborations
include projects with RuPaul, Alaska Thunderfuck, SlimKid3 (of The Pharcyde),
Wendy Waldman, Darude, and Allee Willis. Additionally, ShyBoy co-founded the
band Hypnogaja and the indie label The Spaceman Agency.

Queer for Fear: The History of Queer Horror is a 2022 television documentary
series from the AMC-owned streaming network Shudder and Steakhaus Productions,
executive produced by Bryan Fuller and Steak House.

The series uses interviews with various LGBTQ+ creators to explore LGBTQ+
representation and queer coding in the horror genre throughout history, as well
as influences from the Pansy Craze and the Lavender Scare to how 1980s vampire
films were influenced by the AIDS epidemic.
