SILENT STREAM OF GODLESS ELEGY have been pioneering Folk Metal since their
founding in 1995. They emerged from Moravia, deep within the Slavonic
heartlands. It is the Slavic feelings of ancient longing and melancholy that
fuel the fires of passion in their music, which is a unique combination of
traditional Moravian folk music and doom metal.

Moravian folk music, also known as Moravian traditional music, is a vibrant and
diverse musical tradition that has been flourishing in the Moravian region of
the Czech Republic for centuries. Characterized by its rhythmic melodies,
soulful lyrics, and captivating instrumentation, Moravian folk music has left an
indelible mark on Czech culture and continues to inspire musicians and audiences
worldwide.
