This is a very rare library from 1980, recorded by the powerful duo of percussionist Daniel Humair, one of the vanguard of the Swiss jazz evolutionary experiment, and Jean-Charles Capon (ex-Baroque Jazz Trio), a well-known cello player of the caliber of Jef Gilson and Henri Texier. This is a very rare library from 1980. The 15 tracks are a parade of dazzling light work by both musicians, including some wild electric modulation, and they all groove together in a crazy hip groove that is almost indigestion-inducing. The magical production work is by Christian Bonneau, a French broadcast music genius who has worked with Dominique Andre and Yan Tregger on their national treasure libraries, so keep this one as a family heirloom.
