SSR's national collection of radio archives celebrates its 30th
anniversary in 2024. It was born of the complicity and passion of Peter
Schmidlin, drummer and head of TCB Records, and Yvan Ischer, saxophonist and
producer for RTS. The 1st volume of the collection saw the first publication of
a historic concert by the Quincy Jones Orchestra in Lausanne in 1960. Since
then, the collection has continued to produce exceptional, previously
unpublished gems, from Art Blakey to Charles Lloyd, Count Basie to Stan Getz,
Woody Shaw to Dexter Gordon, Nat King Cole to... Dado Moroni! 2009 saw the
Genoese pianist perform in Morges with double bassist Reggie Johnson and drummer
Peter Schmidlin. At the AMR, remarkable partners Heiri Kaenzig and Paolo Orlandi
will have the opportunity to dialogue with one of today's most luminous piano
specialists: Dado Moroni! The CD of the Dado Moroni Trio Swiss Radio Days vol.
50, will be available on site as a world premiere in Geneva.
