Hansson & Karlsson only ever recorded themselves playing with Flasket
burnner's Bengan Dalen once, and this Crescendo 1968 album is the result. This
is the first of two such volumes and is a gem that has been discovered in the
vaults. It was recorded at Club Cresendo at the Art Museum in Norrkoping and
finds Dahlen on violin and the setlist features well-known classics next to some
more newly discovered pieces that have never before been available on record. A
fine bit of niche but nice Swedish jazz history.
