	       The album "Knights of Asheville" is a live recording of Tangerine Dream's
performance at Moogfest in Asheville, North Carolina, on October 28, 2011. This
release serves as a significant document in the band's discography, as the
performance was dedicated to the memory of Robert Moog in his hometown. The
lineup at the time included Edgar Froese, Thorsten Quaeschning, Linda Spa, Iris
Camaa, Bernard Beibl, and Hoshiko Yamane. The concert program features both
updated versions of classic compositions and more modern works, demonstrating
the evolution of the group's style from meditative ambient to dynamic
electronics with progressive rock elements.
