       The Godfather Source of British Blues John Mayall, a great musician who
pioneered the British blues scene and produced many great guitarists such as
Eric Clapton, Peter Green, and Mick Taylor. This is an excellent project album
that explores his profound roots. John Mayall began his musical career in the
1950s and formed "John Mayall & the Bluesbreakers" in the 1960s. The band
breathed new life into the British blues scene and had a tremendous influence on
the rock world that followed. Listening to this CD, one can easily grasp the
roots of "what kind of music he grew up listening to and how he incorporated
those influences into his own music. This CD tells us about the blues classics
that he fell in love with as a young man. It is a great way to explore how the
music of blues masters such as Robert Johnson and Sonny Boy Williamson inspired
him and shaped him as a musician.John Mayall died in 2024 at the age of 90, but
his music and his influence continue to live on, and this album is a treat for
both blues fans and those who want to learn more about John Mayall. We hope that
